The state has an approximately 15 lakh beneficiaries under Jan Aadhar resident repository which fall into the bracket of specially abled, widow and old age people. To provide relief to this under-privileged and uncatered category, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Rajasthan in his budget announcement 2022-2023 has proposed the launch of Mukhyamantri Aashrit Sewa Yojana.
Rajasthan being a land of tough terrain and extreme conditions, the state government is committed to empowering its citizens with special focus on the poor families, marginalized section of the society, women and people living in far flung areas. The State Government being a pro-poor government is providing social security to its people through various schemes such as Social Security Pension, Palanhar Yojana, Chiranjeevi Yojana etc. The implementation of these schemes has further been ensured making use of ICT enabled platform to provide dependable, transparent, effective and inclusive public service delivery system. This scheme has been envisaged to provide support and handhold families which comprise of specially abled, widows or old aged people.
